Since 1975 Bourne Lions have raised thousands of pounds each year for the community of Bourne and the surrounding villages situated in the cachement area of the club. Helping those less fortunate than ourselves, whether they be individuals, local charities or other organisations, who without the assistance of the dedicated members of Bourne Lions would have fallen on hard times.<\/p>\n

Every penny raised by Lions Clubs\u00a0 goes back into our community. Not one penny goes on administration or saleries, Every Lion member is a priceless volunteer!<\/p>\n

Throughout the year we hold various fundraising events, from our tombola stall, our famous unique little blue bus, giving rides to children and adults alike for over the past 40 years, our well attended 1940s evening, the Family Funday and of course Santa's Sleigh every December.<\/p>\n

The Lions Motto is \"WE SERVE\" therefore the more funds we can raise the more we can do and the more our community benefits. We all need each other and in hard times kindness and a helping hand goes a long way.<\/p>\n

Where there is a need There is a Lion and you will find Lion members at the forefront, anywhere that help and support is needed.<\/p>\n

Each year Bourne Lions make numerous donations to individuals, families and groups within the Bourne area who need some support.<\/p>\n
